If you have Spotify language set to Dutch, it shows IJ as this weird ligature. It shows for all titles, not just Dutch, and it looks weird in other languages.
A single by Łona x Konieczny x Krupa titled BIEGNIJ. The IJ in the title looks like U with a little bit on the left taken out, where J would start.

@jeder @lnl It’s probably done at the font level tho (typetype.org/blog/open-type-font-features-how-to-use-them-in-design/#language_localization_features), not by Spotify themselves; whoever designed the typeface must have wanted that Rijksmuseum flair rijksmuseum.nl

@at @jeder ohhh I noticed it disappears after changing the language, but indeed also when setting lang="pl" on the element

@jeder @lnl zakładam że ustawiają odpowiednik atrybutu lang w htmlu żeby poprawnie wyświetlać CJK pomimo Han unification, a ta ligatura dla IJ to tak przy okazji się zrobiła bo czcionka albo jakaś biblioteka pod spodem to ogarnia
