what's really needed: reusing the APIs used by COVID warning apps (or rebuilding them from scratch since they (Apple and Google, from iOS and Android respectively) removed them by 2023) to build something to report back if you encountered someone with lice, scabies or whatever else is going around in this community lmao

"why would you even want this" have you considered that people can have lice without any noticeable symptoms of it, and that this could be a useful indicator?

...especially for those that never had lice in the last 10 years and therefore don't have any stuff to check more thoroughly?
