@steph i can’t say a bad thing about db announcements ever since DB train manager started doing polish announcements on the night train somewhere in bumfuck nowhere, lower saxony, absolutely unprompted, just because he noticed there’s many poles travelling on the train

@steph pkp intercity would never do such thing, instead announcements are full of fluff, possibly polish only (or none at all!) on eurocity trains, and since 2026 timetable they don’t even do proper transfer announcements

@steph my favourite PKP EC moment is when you leave first czech station and suddenly there are fully fleshed out automated announcements in both czech and english
