@jeder I think it's a weight thing?
kinda like rechargeable batteries, it's utterly pointless but it's lighter than AAAs

@novenary logitech literally just gives you magnets, but I want something more palmgripy so g502 isn't really what I would want even if it has lots of buttons

@novenary yes but g503 has lots of buttons and I was looking at rival 5 which my brother has but I kinda don't like how slippery it feels

@jeder ah yeah if you want a lot of buttons then idk, personally I don't like that, just the standard buttons + two side buttons is good enough for me

@novenary rival 5 is like a middle ground since it has 4 buttons on the left which are pretty cleverly added to the base mouse tbh, like, there's a long button above mouse4 and mouse5 which you can push up, and there's also some less comfortably chosen button at the fingertip

@novenary in my case that fingertip button is way too far, like, my thumb is barely too short

@novenary oh, apparently is 5 side buttons since that "push up" is actually a flick with up and down having separate actions

@novenary i mean this one is above mouse4 and mouse5, the one I have problems with is further down the mouse, nearer to the cable

@jeder yeah I've seen the picture and assumed it was the silver button at the front because of its shape
that one does look too far forward for me to reach seeing how I usually hold my g703 too (I have the end of my thumb right below the middle of the side buttons)
