apparently some of the MPs are praising ordo iuris act project as "well written and well thought out", that project being, transition ban for minors AND ALL neurodivergent people and with mental illnesses

Zakaz tranzycji osób małoletnich będzie procedowany w Sejmie. Ordo luris tryumfuje. Chwali się, że sejmowa Komisja do spraw Petycji jednogłośnie zdecydowała o skierowaniu ich projektu do Komisji Zdrowia oraz Sprawiedliwości i Praw Człowieka.

Przewodniczącym komisji jest Rafał Bochenek z PiS. Ale na 16 osób w niej zasiadających 9 to przedstawicielki_e obecnej koalicji rządowej. A więc uśmiechnięta Polska chyba serio bierze pod uwagę ten zakaz. Ordo luris cytuje Urszulę Augustyn z KO: „projekt jest dopracowany, argumentacja bardzo rozbudowana, chapeau bas". Ten projekt poprzedziła kampania pod hasłem „stop okaleczaniu dzieci".

Tranzycja to proces dopasowania ciała, ale także dokumentów do płci właściwej. Dotyczy osób transpłciowych i żadnych innych. Bywa bardzo różny, bo różne są ich indywidualne potrzeby. Nie musi być chirurgiczny, może być tylko hormonalny. Niezwykle istotny jest ten społeczny - to, jak osoby transpłciowe są traktowane w społeczeństwie.

Ideologiczne zacietrzewienie Ordo luris widać w haśle „stop okaleczaniu dzieci". Haśle nieprawdziwym. Tranzycja ratuje życie osób transpłciowych.

Zapytajcie je. Te, które żyją.

Zakaz, którym ma zająć się Sejm, nie ma poparcia w nauce, opiera się za to na czymś niezwykle niszczącym. Na transfobii. Którą dodatkowo wzmacnia.

Odbiera godność młodym osobom, szukającym swojej tożsamości płciowej, odbiera prawa rodzicielskie (bo zgoda rodzica traci moc wobec ustawy), odbiera też autorytet lekarzom i lekarkom - bo oto ustawowo (bez względu na ich doświadczenie medyczne i rozwój nauki) dostają zakaz pomagania tym młodym ludziom.

and even if they tried to throw it out of the parliament, i have my doubts it would be possible considering that PSL is radicalising itself to the right every single hour, and they would love shit like this
PiS+PSL+Konfederacja+Kukiz'15 currently has 244 MPs, enough to overrule such throw-out

i was hoping that faster parliamentary elections might be an option, but seeing as konfederacja+pis would have the majority with the current polling idk if there's a reality of that happening

though the french did manage to beat the far right in the snap election recently so who knows

@jeder they honestly might, but that would most likely result in a snap election, as i highly doubt that they could form a government with the rest of the right, especially konfederacja

Basically, this is most likely a media stunt to get transphobic rhethoric into the mainstream with extremely small chances of getting actually passed into law. It is bad, and it is absolutely a reason to at the very least spam MPs in the relevant commissions with strongly-worded emails so it doesn't even get through the first reading, but it is bad because of the effect this might have on the public opinion if it gets further, not because "Sejm will soon vote on the legality of gender-affirming care for minors"
