@lilylunatic also many of these pairs should not even be there because on first photo that's actually not an intersection but an access road to a building, and since cyclists and pedestrians are on main road, anyone entering or leaving the road would have to yield anyway but then also majority of drivers yield to pedestrians on the cyclist crossing (without accompanying zebra), and vice versa so you can say rules here are incredibly lax
@jeder Hm how so - all Iβve seen is very half baked attempts to copy the Netherlands whilst not really having ridden a bike anywhere by the vibes of it
@lilylunatic idk how else i can explain shit like this (yes thats a stop sign and you have no place to actually stop, everyone i've seen disregards it)
@uint8_t for example no sidewalks in some places, and so you have to share cycling paths with, uhm, petrol scooters??? i have had multiple of these cunts overtake me with spitting distance between us, cyclists are driving more safely around me
and also seemingly no actual grocery stores outside of shopping parks? but that's an Ede complaint
@uint8_t@jeder I think there are some examples in the rest of europe that are very much getting there. I'm not too up to date on vienna, but Graz is very much improving i.e.
